Izumi is a military weapon of terror.
She is a genetically modified human that has been given the most fearsome and skilled traits from various earth species. With no memories of her past or identity she is a mystery even to herself. When this blue haired fighting machine of a girl decides to break out of her cage in the military base she is imprisoned in, she rashly seizes one of the guards as a hostage so as to make it out of the walls alive and free. It seems she has misjudged just how much she needs his knowledge and resources and this military officer, Hiral, must accompany her against his will to avoid a bullet in his head.
As they both find themselves on the run from the law they soon realize they are up for a bigger fight than they intended to start. Everywhere they go they are not safe in this world rotting in civil war and conflict. Izumi knows there is someone responsible for her misery and is not seeking revenge but wants to hunt them down to reclaim a normal life that she feels she deserves. She wants to be human.
